Because the very 'nucleus' of the later establishment called arbitrary as 'Kingdom of Greece' was essentially Albanian (or as Fallmerayer brilliantly called 'New Albania') Ali Pasha's ambitions were to create an Albanian state which would encompass all territories of the later Bavarian creature.

In 1788 he received his investiture as Pasha of Janina, the capital of Southern Albania. His only ambition was not to become entirely independent of the Sultan. Moreover, he conceived the fiery project of building for himself an Albanian empire which would have included the whole of Greece as well as the Ionian Islands, then in the occupation of France and later a British protectorate.

(Albania Past and Present By Constantin A. Chekrezi, pg.43)
"If one calls this country a new Albania, one gives it its real name."

    (Fallmerayer about "Greece")

Since I cannot find right now the thread about Albanian origin of modern "Greeks" I'd post here an interesting passage about "Greeks" of southern Italy.

I think that even the name of Albanian "colony" of Piana dei greci (Plain of Greeks) tells what did mean to be 'Greek' in southern Italy. "Greci" was equivalently with 'Albanesi'...it was used interchangeable for all the time. That's why Piana dei greci passed naturally into 'piana degli albanesi'.

If moderators finds that this post should be moved in another thread, please feel free of doing that!

Anarchist, The Albanians have to be the only minority in the world that are ashamed to be called by their name in their language. Its like me being offended if somebody called me a Makedonec, its not degrading at all that is how they call themselves in Albanian Shiptari, Shqipitar its no different at all.

No we do not, how would it be offensive when we use the exact term they themselves use? Think of it like this, if Greeks would call us in Greek as 'Makedontsi' that would not be offensive, but instead you use terms like 'skopian', 'fyromian' etc in Greek, that is offensive.

Because the auther is not the issue here, its the message that is important. There are many Greek authers and articles i can show you, That would agree with this video. There are some that have risked there saftey and after speeking out are ither threatened to be raped and killed, or are in the process to be taken to court.

Now, should we disregard what a Greek says that has substance, simply because it came from a Greek?

I also noticed you did not critisize the pathetic video on the Dr. Aris Poulianis Thread which is eaqualy piss poor i think.

Sory i am not this Daniel guy. But i am sure you would not mind me expressing my opinion.
