I was reading on the news that a Bulgarian minister posed a 1 million euro challenge to any Macedonian historians who can provide proof showing an original Medieval manuscript which shows the Macedonian nation and language.

Is this a real story? And if it is, are any of our historians working to find this document so we can take away this Bulgarian's 1 million euro?

I would like to counter that challenge and ask this supposed pseudo-historian if he could actually provide that for Bulgaria and show us if the Bulgarians in medieval times thoughts of themselves as they do today in 2009 let alone the language!
