Given that Modern Grecophonic populations, for all intensive purposes, are genetically identical to their counterparts across the way, I’d say Korais had it backwards. Asiatic speech habits? Give me a break!

Julie the truth hurts our greek friends when have they admitted their error of their ways. They aren't going to accept the truth because the truth represents freedom from tyranny & nazism, they can't even admit simple truths let alone more complex ones. You see on this forum & threads that they are in constant denial of the truth. They are trying to feed us BS but members are too smart for them.

This one is really really good boys and girls. I'm sure this will re-surface a few thousand times in other forums in the next year. Adamantios Korais mentions a seperate ancient Macedonian language which is not 'greek':

    <------- Never 'Greek', Always Macedonian!

There had been a vast deal too much talk about the descendants of Leonidas and Themistocles, about the glories of Marathon and Thermopylae. The Greeks and their friends were too apt to leap back two thousand years and ignore all history between the fight of Chaeronea and the fight of Dragatshan.

The greeks of today don't have any link to their ancient past & it's an invented myth that they do.The modern greeks used it like a crutch to lie to other countries hey look at us we are greek alexander was greek. This would be an oversimplification.

This is a supposed "greek-macedonian(?)" from the 19th century and his geography:

and this is the footnote with additional neo-hellenes of the 19th century who had exempted Macedonia from their geography of "Hellas".
