It turns out Yorgi is both a Greek and an Albanian name however the name Georgios is used more formally for the Greeks. And the actual version of Yorgi is Yorgos (Georgios). While Yorgi/Yorgo is actually the direct Greek version of Gjergji as the Albanian male names end with ''i''.

''Yorgi Kavaco'' - the surname is Albanian.

The ones I have marked are typically Albanian eg. Jorgi - Gjergji, Gin - Gjin, Petro Guri, Luka. I will post several other for central and northern Euboea which proves the Albanian presence in these regions. The south (1/3) was almost entirely Arvanite in 1904.

Kursari is also found among Kosovar Albanians as well as Makri in Tosk Albanians. Most of these people were probably Albanians but I am marking more obvious examples specifically.
Eg. Makri, Guri and Toti/Toto in Gjirokasater:

map of Lichada (Greece / Central Greece), satellite view. Real streets and buildings location with labels, ruler, places sharing, search, locating, routing and weather forecast.

Lisada must be Lichada. Can Amphipolis confirm this?

Nikolaos Kriezotis - Arvanite from South Euboea.
'' He led the Revolution of 1843 in Euboea and the following year was elected a delegate to the First National Assembly and to the first Parliament after that. Kriezotis then withdrew to Smyrna, where he died in 1853.''

On a Mountain more Northerly is a great wall, above three miles about, and close by it is a Vil∣lage called Cupa. The ruined place they told me was called Amatos. To the North are several good Ports, and there the Inhabitants live more secure than to the South. They reckon to be upon the whole Island not above 60000 soules, of which not above 10000 Turks, who most live under the command of the Castles at Negro Ponte, and Castel Rosso. Here is abundance of silks made, most of which is carryed to Constantinople, towards payment of their tribute, and Decimos. The Grand Signor's Revenue from this great Island, is about 100000 Dollars. As to the Tides motion at the Bridg, I will not trouble the Reader with the several opinions, that men have about it; only that it has been observed by several others, as well as my self, that sometimes it will pass contrary at the one side to the other, and this commonly on a Southerly wind. The next Island we come to in rank to the East is

I will check for Kupa/Cupa in the defter.

Yeah, it would be great if there was a point at the end of the tunel, on how there is a thread and a series of nonsensical posts on Euboea and how they are related to the forum and lies and propaganda.

The assimilation of Albanians, Vlachs, Slavs and others into Greeks.
This thread is about Albanians in Euboea in particular this is how it is related in this forum.

So you mean the title and subject is "Albanians in Euboea"? That's... interesting. I'll think of contributing.

Note: Euboea doesn't have an entry in Albanian wikipedia.
