I was just going to post this.

Come on home, Pirinci. Come on home. If soccer is what it takes, then that's what it takes

I like the idea..

On a serious note, as a keen Football enthusiast I would like to see the ex yugo league re-instated for the sake of quality and in order to produce better players

The current format is just not feasible, players aren’t exposed to high quality football week in week out hence can’t evolve into quality players and the ones with half of talent get snapped up early on by the colonial powers.

This is good for the colonial masters, we can buy our kids man utd shirts, pay for tv rights and support teams with no affiliation whatsoever.

Fark that..

Zaev will probably unite the Macedonian league with the Bulgarian one. Today the Bulgarian PM suggested to him that both countries should share embassies, seemed like they both like the idea.

I don't think you're too far off the mark with that one

A first as Bulgarian, Macedonian PMs jointly celebrate May 24 in Rome

For the first time, the Prime Ministers of Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia are jointly celebrating in Rome as their countries mark May 24, the day of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

The day celebrates the Cyrillic alphabet and Slavonic learning and literature.

Every year in recent decades, Bulgaria and Macedonia have sent official delegations to the Italian capital that customarily includes, among other things, venerating the tomb of Saint Cyril and an audience with the Pope.

In 2018, against a background of an official warming of relations between Sofia and Skopje that significantly has included the ratification of a good-neighbourliness agreement, several of the events jointly involve the delegations from Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia.

During their two-day visits to Rome, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov and his Macedonian counterpart will attend the opening of a Macedonian-Bulgarian cultural programme organised by the ministries of culture of the two countries.

Macedonia PM Zoran Zaev: By jointly honouring Cyril and Methodius, Bulgaria and Macedonia confirm their true friendship

By jointly paying tribute to Cyril and Methodius, Bulgaria and Macedonia confirm their true friendship, Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev told reporters in Rome, Focus News Agency reports. He said that the work of the holy brothers was an example and congratulated everyone for the holiday. “The tribute at St. Cyril’s tomb and at the memorial tablet from Pope Adrian II in honour of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, which we did together with the Bulgarian delegation led by the prime minister, reminded us of their spiritual and enlightening contribution to all Slavic peoples,” said Zaev.

The club was founded by Macedonians. Do we know if this is serious though? Or is it more of a statement of defiance like Iraklis in Solun?

FIFA would allow it. Wellington Phoenix is a New Zealand team that plays within the A-league = Australian league. I can't see why it wouldn't happen.
