Roman soldiers crucified Christ mate, not Jews, even though it was at their instigation.

What did they teach you in Greek school, that God chose the "Hellenic" language? LOOLLLLL
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

Humble beginnings lacking 'ethnic' validity Due to the assistance rendered by the Slavic and Latin speaking people to the Austrian and Russian powers against the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans during the 17th and 18th centuries, the interests of Greek-speakers and their Turkish rulers grew closer as the former was able to

jesus was crucified by rome as a rebel, who had challenged the authority of roma. crucifiction was a roman form of punishment not jewish. greece at that time was an insignificant backwater in the roman empire. no can we get a few thing straight here royal hellas , no modern macedonian has a problem with the ancient greeks, and there has never been a greek nation in the modern sense until1824.

Saint Paul in his Epistles uses Hellene, almost always in association with Hebrew, possibly with the aim of representing the sum of those two religious communities. Hellene is used in a religious meaning for the first time in the New Testament. In the Gospel of Mark 7:26, a woman arrives before Jesus kneeling before him: "The woman was a Hellene, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter."Since the nationality or ethnicity of the woman was Syrophenician, "Greek" (translated as such into the English of the King James Version, but as haižno "heathen" in Ulfilas' Gothic; Wycliffe and Coverdale likewise have heathen) must therefore signify her religion.

To enquire after the impression behind an idea is the way to remove disputes concerning nature and reality.
