It is correct that partisans from Vardar Macedonia would likely have taken Solun. They were however sent by Tito (enemy of the Macedonians) to Serbia in order to fight against the retreating Germans.

Against WHO do you think they would have to fight in Greece?

They would have fought Nazi occupiers, whether German or Bulgarian

The CIA recently released secret documents, one of them from 1953 states that Greece wanted to transfer 50,000 "Macedonians" (those who stayed in Greece after the Greek Civil War) to Yugoslavia!!! Document: https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP79T00975A001000200001-7.pdf

You are correct that all those towns would have been liberated earlier with the assistance of Macedonian partisans

Yes, I'm usually correct. I just wasn't sure if you were talking seriously.

Solun probably wasn't. Why don't YOU try? The question was "Against WHO do you think they would have to fight in Greece?" and the date/year was unclear, so it would help if you can add this too.
