I came across this simply awesome Russian TV discussion forum that is a must see and I highly recommend it as it highlights the growing anger by Russians over the west's belligerence. They cover some very interesting ground, which I think is relevant to us as well, when they refer to small-fry nations acting as allies but in reality are nothing more than puppets and slaves of the US – “Do as we say or there will be consequences!”

One of them makes the very valid point that the current reason for the diplomatic row, the alleged Russian poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter, is really an excuse to punish Russia for the recent land-slide election win by Putin – of course it had to be rigged by Putin and that is why a message needed to be sent to Russia by the west that this would not be tolerated.

      It's only about 10 minutes.

Interesting video...it makes me sick that Zaev (and the opposition) have their heads buried so far up America's arse...it's even more depressing to watch their political naivety on a daily basis, whether it is the name negotiations, handing Macedonia on a silver platter to the shiptari or poking the bear in the balls as somebody recently put it...

          Good video.. very logically said..

I too see this escalating, the west will keep on provoking and provoking and poking in order to instigate a false flag or a popular uprising in Russia, from gays getting executed on masse in Chechnya, to commercial flights being shot over Ukraine, to children being attacked by chemical weapons in Syria, to double agents getting poisoned in London.. and Russians meddling in US elections, I just wouldn't be surprised if they boycott the World Cup.. it's all evil Putins fault as if he has anything to gain from the above..

As for fyrom, there is nothing more pathetic than a two faced dog on this planet. No honour no shame.

Could this be viewed as positive news?

No change in the name is the attitude of almost half of the citizens or 47.1 percent, according to the latest poll by the MCIC and the Institute for Democracy, published by Telma. Only 14.4 percent of citizens would accept a “double formula”, nearly as much as 14.1 would accept a name for overall use or ‘erga omnes’. An agreed name for international organizations is acceptable to 13.6 percent of the respondents, while 10.1 percent would support an agreed name for overall international use.

The poll by the MCIC and the Institute for Democracy covered the issue of changing the Constitution, showing that this is unacceptable for 48.3 percent of citizens, compared to only 16.4 percent of which a change of the constitutional name is acceptable. Regarding ethnicity, 60.7 percent of Macedonians do not accept any change in the Constitution, while 41.8 percent of Albanians accept the constitutional name change.

The public opinion poll showed which adjective or addition of the name would be the most acceptable for citizens to reach a solution. 17.1 percent for “Gorna”, for “Skopje”, 11.9 percent, for “Nova” – 9.5, for “North” 8.1 percent and for Vardarska 5.9 percent. The majority of respondents 44, percent are not for any addition.

Regarding the issue of citizenship or nationality according to the definitions in the United Nations, out of the offered four options, the largest number of 47.9 percent stated that citizenship should be written as македонско/ Macedonian. An eventual option – a citizen of the Republic of Upper Macedonia translated into English is acceptable for 14.4 percent. The most acceptable definition of language in the United Nations for 45.7 percent is “Macedonian” – with a translation into English, while 16.5 percent find “Macedonian” written in Latin acceptable.

Well, if we assume that 20% of the respondents were Albanians and nearly all of them were for a name change, then we're talking about near 60% of ethnic Macedonians are against the name change.

Which is better than I personally was expecting in such a poll.

Two small ethnic Albanian parties are to join Macedonia’s ruling coalition as part of a first reshuffle by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev aimed at growing his slim majority in parliament.

Macedonia’s Zaev Moves to Strengthen Majority

Two small ethnic Albanian parties are to join Macedonia’s ruling coalition as part of a first reshuffle by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev aimed at growing his slim majority in parliament

The coalition will be joined by two MPs of the Democratic Party of Albanians, DPA, and three MPs aligned with a faction of the BESA party led by Afrim Gashi, BIRN reported.

The ethnic Albanian Democratic Union for Integration, DUI, is already in the government.

The move will ease pressure on Zaev’s wafer-thin majority in parliament, where since his election in April 2017 he has relied on the support of just 61 of 120 MPs.

Sources from the ruling majority told BIRN that the forthcoming reshuffle will include a total of nine ministerial posts, most of them deputy ministers.

Each party will receive one ministerial post in Zaev’s cabinet, they told BIRN.

Those sources, and sources within the ethnic Albanian parties, say the DPA will most likely take charge of foreign investment, with former DPA MP Bardhyl Dauti the strongest candidate to replace DUI’s Ramiz Merko after he was elected mayor of Struga.

Government sources say BESA will most likely take over the Culture Minister from Zaev’s Social Democrats.

The two parties that are joining the government are expected to discuss and officially announce their move in coming days.

Following the government reshuffle, BIRN sources claim that the government is also planning changes in about 30 per cent of the directorial posts in public institutions and companies.

Sources within Zaev’s Social Democrats point out that the planned new appointments will be done in the coming weeks in coordination with all government partners and will take into account public criticism for the current government shortcomings, and its failure to more energetically tackle corruption and crime.

The reshuffle comes as Zaev girds for a backlash by opponents to a possible deal with Greece over Macedonia’s name, which Athens wants changed before it drops its objection to Skopje’s NATO and European Union membership.
“There’s a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part, you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus and you’ve got to make it stop, and you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all” - Mario Savio

The Macedonian court rejects corruption charges against Zoran Zaev (who took office and held in office by the influence of a few puppeteers in foreign diplomats, for the purpose of signing a deal with Greece), despite clear video evidence in which he asks for a bribe from a businessman. Yet the same courts' jailed Macedonian most famous opera singer Igor Dulovski, for terrorism based on video evidence him smiling during the storming of parliament last year.
