Does anyone have any more information on "MANAPO" (Makedonski Nacionalen Pokret)

We seem to have a few groups such as these that come and go.

Who are we directing the message to? The world? Or our own politicians who are selling Macedonia out? What Macedonian Diaspora groups need to do is put pressure on the Macedonian government to conform with the goals of the Macedonian Cause, by cooperating with them while they continue to negotiate OUR IDENTITY we are making it easier for them to carry out their dirty work.

I am not advocating the cessation of trade and interaction between Macedonians in the Diaspora and those in Macedonia, but instead a form or forms of consistent and perpetual protest against the government's policies. Reject them and their advances, do not welcome them when they visit us in Diaspora countries, in fact, that is when we should protest. The Macedonian government can end this fiasco with the name today, right now, all they have to say is NO to the violation of our heritage, identity and integrity.

How many Macedonians are prepared to do that? And how many will still greet Gruevski or Ivanov like royalty when they visit the country in which they live? Our future can be ours to determine, but we need to take it into our hands. I eagerly await the next visit of any high-profile Macedonian politician to Australia - gone are the days of good reception, these people need to be held accountable for their actions, and if the Macedonians in Macedonia won't or can't do it, then the rest of the Macedonians across the world should. Afterall, the stupid decisions that some idiot politicians in Macedonia make, affect us all.
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

It never ceases to amaze me how people who supposedly come out in protest to defend our freedom do so only within the confines that their oppressors have made for them.

Its the diaspora that causes the problems. Ppl both in Greece and Macedonia do not have any issues. So, I would suggest the diaspora ppl to go on with their superior lives and leave the ppl who live in their native lands to solve the issue.

Go to Florina -Bitola and back. Im not talking about political problems or issues. Im referring to on the ground relations. Greeks are supporting their income buying products while your pride matters more than them.

Greeks would go across the border even if the Macedonians were calling them "Yiftoi" in order to buy cheaper products. Don't kid yourself Trident, the support you speak of is driven by some very basic motivations.

Really? It's the Diaspora that denies the Macedonians' their right to their Macedonian identity? It's the Diaspora that forbids Macedonian language schools, churches, etc in Greece? It's the Diaspora who forced Macedonia to change its international name and flag?

Wake up. Don't try and numb this down to a matter of trade between Macedonians in Lerin and Bitola. It's your racist government and its supporters in Greece that are the cause of all these problems. Allow the Macedonians their human rights and the problem goes away today.

                            'Protesters' Throwing Rocks at Parliament

The so called 'tobacco' protest has gotten out of control in front of parliament after the protesters started throwing bottles, cans, and rocks...

Nova Makedonija camera-man was struck by a rock in the head and was taken to the city hospital around 2 hours ago. The police is working on identifying the culprit. At the moment there are around 800 people in front of Parliament. Numerous protesters have been identified by the police as "thugs" with thick criminal records, while others were recognized as part of the SDSM's 'group' in front of A1 TV a month ago.

It's clear the protesters have nothing to do with tobacco production, rather it is an organized event by the largest opposition party attended by their own members/enforcers.

The police has asked the 'protesters' to refrain from violence or will have to face the consequences...

Meanwhile, the tobacco debate in parliament continues.

                            hahahaha a rent a crowd.

I would not have minded if they hurled rocks towards the Parliament if it was in anger towards the name negotiations.

But what do you expect from Branko's little magots.
