Apart from being one of world's richest, Norway has around 4.6 mil population. Its main industries are oil and fishing. It has free healthcare, free education. Norway's business laws are one of the most protective on the planet. Example: Norwegian Parliament needs to approve a sale of a Norwegian company to a foreign based company. Parliament usually doesn't approve the sale.
It is incredibly picturesque, with world's longest fjords.
Politics:
Norway is known for not being involved in military conflicts and is always neutral. Trusted by other countries as a neutral player with no hidden agendas. The Sri Lanka and Tamil negotiations, Israel and Palestine talks all took place in Oslo. Alfred Nobel, the Swedish scientist who issued awards in his name decided Norway should be the country to select which individual gets the Nobel Peace prize.
It is the only country whose citizens voted against joining the European Union (voted "No" on two referendums), something the Macedonian Government ought to follow instead of blindly asking to enter a Federation where each 'state' is set to lose its status as a country (Lisbon Treaty).
Movie
These days the Norwegians have decided to make a movie about a country being held hostage because of its name. The name of the movie is "A Name is a Name", written and directed by Sigurjon Einarsson.
The music theme of the movie is by Morten Harket, the frontman of A-Ha. The idea behind the movie is to educate Europeans and EU politicians on Macedonia (or Makedonia as the Norwegians would say), but also on Greece.
Macedonians will be able to go and visit Norway visa free within few months.
Wake up Macedonia.
Don't sell your arse yet.
