The world belongs to Macedonia. Macedonia does not belong to the world, especially not to Macedonia's neighbouring countries.

It will not hurt Macedonia putting it to a vote.

I prefer the legal option however. I think the Macedonians should have gone to the ICJ over the term FYROM a decade ago.

Kosovo is the 127th country that the Republic of Macedonia

Macedonia and Kosovo establish diplomatic ties

Macedonia and Kosovo established late Saturday diplomatic ties by signing a joint Communique of Foreign Ministers Antonio Milososki and Skender Hyseni respectively, after the countries' parliaments ratified the border demarcation agreement.

A MoFA press release reads that Milososki signed the document in Skopje, followed by Kosovo FM Hyseni in Pristina a few hours later. It stresses that both sides urge the strengthening of friendly ties on the basis of mutual respect of national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

"In the telephone conversation following the Communique's signing, the two ministers voiced their enormous satisfaction from the act, emphasizing that establishment of diplomatic relations would contribute to the further development of cooperation, in the interest of regional peace and stability", adds the press release.

Kosovo is the 127th country that the Republic of Macedonia has established diplomatic ties with under its constitutional name. Macedonia recognized Kosovo's independence on October 9 of last year, but establishment of diplomatic relations was delayed mainly due to the open border issue.
The Macedonians originates it, the Bulgarians imitate it and the Greeks exploit it!

Macedonia has finished the demarcation process with Kosovo as both parliaments have ratified the agreement over the weekend. A strategic area of 2500 hectares have been conceded to Macedonia.

A 10 yr old joint project between Albania, Macedonia, and Serbia that was put on hold due to circumstances is now fast tracked with demarcation process with Kosovo complete. A Hydro dam will be constructed on the newly acquired Macedonian land providing electricity to the Polog region of Macedonia, as well as creating a 70 - 90 km2 lake on the Albania - Kosovo - Macedonia border.

Kosovo is not a UN country its not recognized by the UN which means they are not the 127th country to recognize us.

Actually Prolet, Kosovo not being a UN Member simply means Kosovo is not a UN Member.

Let me ask you, what was the Republic of Macedonia from 1991 to 1993?

Well Rogi if we go to South Ossetia and Abhazia and ask them to recognize us will this mean that 129 countries recognize us??

From 1991 to 1994 we were in the same situation as Kosovo is now, the only difference is we legally declared Independence from Yugoslavia where as Kosovo has never been a Republic. It was always a Serbian Autonomy along with Vojvodina.

So we are talking about UN countries here because we wish to call a 2/3 majority count. Its good that Kosovo recognized us but their recognition means little in the UN and under UN we are named fyrom remember?

Why do you think all the battles occurred in the mid 90s?? Once we joined the UN at all costs we changed our name, flag and constitution to get to the UN we had people dancing on the streets with Branko Crvenkovski and Denko Maleski telling the people how we all made history by becoming a UN member. This list sounds right to me, however im not too sure. The number is definitly correct 127 countries. North Korea has recognized us while South Korea hasnt, i believe somebody better make the trip to Seoul very soon, we still dont have diplomatic relations yet.

and where is Australia? oh yes thats right, we are still under British Rule, this colony of ours. Time to change Australia's name, the former British Colony of Austrlia, after all we are convicts here considered Anglo Saxon
How rude, a country that falsely promotes equality and cultural diversity, what a farce, an absolute joke
