Dimitrija Chupovski and the Macedonian Voice: 1913-1918 in St Petersburg

This is the last known publication of editorial staff of "Makedonski Golos" with the complete proclaimation of 8th June 1915.

Notice the flag with the horse on it and please do also notice the text writen above it, THE MACEDONIAN FLAG and also written on it, ONE INDEPENDENT MACEDONIA. There is a high likelihood that the horse represents Bukefal.

Nice to see it in color.

Can we translate the text of the proclamation into English?
      Who is game?

It would be way to hard to translate the hole thing but i can make out some of it.
In the scroll looking thing top right hand corner of the proclamation it says:

"We Macedonians- not Bulgarians not Serbs, just Macedonians, Macedonian people"

Just by that you can tell how patriotic these Macedonians were.

I would love to see the full translation into Macedonian or English.

          Here you go

          Translation into English:

          Macedonia and the Macedonians

We the Macedonians, are no Serbs nor Bulgarians, but simply Macedonians. The Macedonian People is existent independent of the Bulgarian or Serb People. We have sympathies with both of them, Bulgarians and Serbs; who will help our freedom fight, to them we will say thank you, but damn Bulgarians and Serbs forget that Macedonia is so precious for the Macedonians.
          Makedoncite se borat
          za svoite pravdini!

"The one who works for joining of Macedonia to Bulgaria,Greece or Serbia can consider himself as a good Bulgarian, Greek or Serb, but not a good Macedonian"

Macedonian Voice/МАКЕДОНСКИ ГЛАС published 1913-1918 in St Petersburg!

Here is the very first published edition of the Macedonian Voice, which was a newspaper of the Macedonian colony in St Petersburg, Russia.

Please follow this link to view all pages of the first edition:
Сајт за Македонска историја, Култура и традиции.

Does anyone have all editions of this newspaper available?
Be it in digital form or in paper copy.

isn't that the sun symbol flag depicted with many rays. That's another evidence that we have used it before in 1915.The macedonians in st petersburg were very deicated to the macedonian cause. They pleaded with the russians to help them develop macedonia as a free state but to no avail.THe russians are only interested to get for themselves only.

can we find references of using the sun as a symbol in Ottoman times or before that, some Greeks need their mouths to be permanently shut.

Insurgent flag against the Ottoman rule, 1903 a sun symbol on the left.
The Macedonians originates it, the Bulgarians imitate it and the Greeks exploit it!

Lavce, you just have to look at our churches, buildings and so forth to see more the enough evidence that we used the Sun as our symbol...

                        Macedonian affair with the Sun

Here is a picture taken by Albert Kahn’s photographers in Macedonia. The picture is from 1912 and is one of the first in the world taken in color. Please notice the Sun symbol on the rocking bed.

If this Symbol so important to the greeks who didn't know about it untill late '70 to discover the Sun at Kutlesh..?
I have asked this question so many times to our southern neighbours and I yet haven't got any proof from them to back it up..

"Can all these Proud Greek-Macedonian's show us that they were waving or carrying the Macedonian Symbol in ANY YEAR before 1988...?

What I find interesting about the front cover of Makedonski Glas is the Sarafov quote. Dimitrija Chupovski, the publisher of the paper, was not a part of VMORO. Together with other like-minded Macedonians, Chupovski also established the Macedonian Literary Society, who organised the publishing of 'On Macedonian Matters' and 'Vardar', which were written by Misirkov.

In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.
