Are We Witnessing the Start of a Global Revolution?

I am sure you know that there is some kind of revolution in Egypt now. At least Egyptians want to do that. Reporters says that more than 100 people died and about 2000 people injured so far.

    Also you know, this came after the events in Tunisia and Yemen. There is an interesting article here about all these events. It`s very long, so i will only give the link of it;

Are We Witnessing the Start of a Global Revolution?

I don't know if we are going to see a global revolution or not but i am also not sure about if western powers behind some of these events in middle-east or not. I hope it`s just the ordinary people cuz these people has been ruled by puppet dictators since WW-1. Especially Egypt was completely under control of USA and Israel and France was using their puppet dictator in Tunisia.

Interesting thing is, people in middle-east organized for this by using facebook, twitter!!!

I think that this fire wont stop and probably spread in to more middle-eastern states, maybe except rich but ignorant ones like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia.

Onur I am sure you are aware that there are many wrongs in the world…some are ramifications of past wrongs while other are relatively new. In general there has been a world wide push for democracy and human right…hasn’t the west prided itself on this point as apposed to the bad dictatorships around the world. It was a convenient rallying cry to motivate minds votes and armies into particular directions but the problem with speaking about democracy and human rights all the time is people eventually start to believe you and start asking when are they going to get it and then demand it as we now can see happening. The problem for the west is some of those bad dictators are their own puppets.

The biggest worry is if unscrupulous politicians seize the momentum and then try to push the people to their own agendas while the people are expecting something better. It looks like 2011 will be an interesting year for a number of reasons.

Western world wants human rights and democracy only for themselves but not for others because you cant easily manipulate whole country while it`s so easy to manipulate just one(or few) person and let him do what you want.

And yes, i agree to you Ozimak. I also think that 2011 will be an interesting year.

I agree, this does seem to be the way of the world at the moment.

I just heard that the protesters in egypt want moubarak out. They are saying that they just want him only out.I think it's the poulation discontent & we saw that in greece & in other countries.Maybe some good can come out of it all the more for change.

I think its time the people got back the control of their countries and started to address the inequalities that burden their societies, this is just as important in the first world as it is in the third world...

Personally, I'm sick of the extreme right wing economics that leave CEO's to operate in such 'free' markets whilst the workers are subjected to economic constraints and outright abuse...

If anybody is thinking of starting a revolution, please call...

I was speculating that this was sparked by Tunisia, and that the US were shitting their pants that regime change was going to happen in Egypt.

However recent articles suggest that the US may have been the cause of this crisis?

                    Politics is one dirty business.

I think the video that I posted proves that US is involved in Egypt and in almost all of Africa's problems.

IMHO I think the US was caught with its pants down. I don't think they were expecting this...... Now that it is inevitable that Mubarek is on his way out, they are the ones reporting to have pushed for regime change in Egypt. US is not interested in placing democracies in the middle east. They want rulers that are yes men.

I heard them saying "Anglo Union" many times, but if you search their names up, they are almost all Jewish. If they say that they are Jewish I think it's going to hurt their image on awaking people. And surly they will get censored badly.
