One of the Greeks looks like the only one who knows how to 'turn the other cheek'. Copped a nice one for it though.

they are not Christians remember.... when the became neoHellenes in the 19th century they became Pagans again, the last Christian "Greeks" where the Romeoi but the Ellines killed them of with the help of Otto the pure Ellina from Bavaria.

The Armenians really appear to hang tight. I have not met too many of them.

I met a mad one in Las Vegas. Very memorable.
I agree, very entrepreneurial people that hang together to make things right for each other. Macedonian's could learn from that.
Many know Russian and are VERY surprised to find Macedonians in Greece can speak a language like ours.

we should certainly learn from many communities, unfortunately we are slow learners.

some armenians i know trace their history to nowadays iran (tehran), i believe armenia was larger once upon a time. when you dig deeper, we have many similarities with them. it's quite enjoyable finding words that are common to both us and them.

                          Hello my dear friends,

Armenians are great people and very loyal. Once you befriend an Armenian, they become a friend for life.

I am interested to know what happened to the Armenian population from Bitola prior to WWII.

Thank you. I will see if I can dig up some info too. I know that there was an old song about the Armenians in Bitola from many moons ago. I will try to find out more about that one.
